My illustration of looking at the eternal. When my first husband was killed in a car wreck, the ambulance driver assured me that he dies instantly and that he probably felt no pain. I responded “Who cares! Even if he had lain there for hours in excruciating pain, what would that matter the moment that he was in God’s presence? Would he care at all once in heaven how long or how much pain he was in?”
