To be wise, we must value what’s really important by living as though we were on the threshold of eternity.

We must always be ready to fight our emotions when they contradict God’s word!
Don’t despair if friends fail you when you need them most, God will always pick up the slack.
When tough times hit remember that as a part of God’s family he’ll help you establish what is right as you entrust yourself to him!
We must avoid the subtle and damning suggestions of the enemy that entice us self-promotion!
We must never neglect our responsibility to live peacefully & harmoniously with our siblings in Christ!
We must reject the feelings & effects of guilt once we are sure it has accomplished it divine intention!
We must always be careful to look past the deceptive glitz of sexual temptation.
We must love people enough to tell them what they need to hear, not just what they want to hear.
God hates hypocrisy. We must take every precaution to avoid this self-imposed, self-destructive self-deception.
We must be cognizant and always prepared for the alluring temptations of our spiritual enemy.
When we sin we must quickly realize & humbly admit our affront to God’s goodness!
People who have been freely & sacrificially loved by God should be compelled to love others freely & sacrificially. God doesn’t have any needs but his kids do!
To make your life really count you’ve got to get actively involved with other Christians in living intentionally for God.
Understanding grace should take the focus off of us and put it thankfully and confidently on God!
Christianity is incredible because God rewards and loves those he doesn’t need.
Christians should give up all hopes of being “normal” and choose to be right & trust God for the rest.
Serve Christ’s Church making the most profitable return possible on God’s investment in you!
Sin is too costly to deal with gently. We must always deal with sin severely in our own lives.
In the long run all “power plays” are futile! God gives it, maintains it, and takes it back when he wants to.
