We should always be mindful that our effectiveness in our employment and success in parenting is fully dependent on God’s gracious provision and merciful protection.
If we love God then we will love the Bible and make it a top priority, because in it we come to know God and are prompted to live a life that pleases him.
Worship is not always an impulsive emotional reaction, it should also take place as a dutiful expression of thanksgiving as a result of an intentional, thoughtful decision.
As we start to understand the trouble & brevity of this life as God’s theological & sometimes practical response to sin, we should learn to earnestly seek his solutions.
Though we experience a lot of painful inequities in this life we must replace frustration & complaining with a trust in God’s justice and a focus on his incomparable benefits.
Life will feel uncertain and perilous at times, but as Christians we must fix our focus on God, affirming his love for us in Christ and his good promises regarding our future.
God is loving and faithful to inflict his children with feelings of guilt and conviction so that we will quickly be brought to confession, repentance and restoration!
God’s promise of provision and his track record of care in our lives ought to be ample cause for us to confidently trust him no matter how difficult or painful life might be.
Because God has spoken clearly & authoritatively in creation, Scripture & conscience we must be careful to respond with humility, repentance and obedience.
Closeness with God is more than being saved, it is a relational intimacy that grows as we learn to love and increasingly practice what is good, right and holy.
We should gladly submit ourselves to God’s only sanctioned Savior and King, mindful of the grave consequences of opposing or rejecting his loving leadership.
As we learn to think and live biblically we experience an increasing sense of joy in light of the security and significance that God grants us in Christ.
