A Transformed Life
Paul was completely transformed; we should be, too. Christ in us changes everything, and we would do well to remember the differences daily.
Thursday Night Bible study through the first three chapters in the Book of Romans
Paul was completely transformed; we should be, too. Christ in us changes everything, and we would do well to remember the differences daily.
Yahweh’s Sovereign Plan Regarding the Christ
The Lordship of Christ must be thoughtfully understood, affirmed and responded to on a daily basis through obedience, submission and dependence on Jesus.
God has saved us to be conformed to the image of Christ…so we should desire to grow, but we must be careful to undertand God`s involvement in our spiritual growth so as to rightly rely on him and give him credit as we make progress
We should wake up the incredible and precious gift God has given us in entrusting us with his word; and so we should reverentially dig in to our Bibles every day!
We must be careful to recognize and obediently respond to godly and biblical desires that God promotes in our new hearts.
God is calling us to thoughtfully and eagerly engage our world with the good news of repentance and faith in Christ.
Feeling awkward or even scared when talking about the gospel is normal, even expected, but we have to power through the feelings to be obedient representatives of the most important message in the world.

God has revealed himself clearly, and it is our responsibility to respond thoughtfully and carefully to his revealed information!
We must understand that God temporarily tolerates (co-exists) with sin and allows people to plow headlong into increasing sin until the day of judgment; this does not reflect a lack of power on God’s part, but only patience and grace until his coming.
God’s judgment of sin is reflected in our passing judgment on others; it should confirm our guilt and should be done only as God would direct us – without hypocrisy or self appointed authority.
We must be vigilant and examine ourselves regarding our obedience because God’s current blessings may be his grace that is intended to lead us to repentance!
We must realize that God’s future repayment of sin is just and right and thankfully it is also avoidable.
While passages of Scripture sometimes appear to support “works salvation” it is essential to know that good works that accompany salvation come after real repentance & faith.
God’s grace is amplified as we understand the inexcusability of our sin; we have been warned about his rules repeatedly by natured, conscious and God’s word.
Our righteous deeds or righteous environment is tempting to trust in, but doing so is a catastrophic mistake – we must trust in Christ alone!
Outward signs of our favored status with God mean nothing if we are not rightly related to God through a repentant faith in Christ.
In today’s Christian culture we cannot afford to miss the importance of biblical inspiration – we must understand it, affirm it and defend it.
God is always perfectly faithful to keep his promises to Israel (and the Church) regarding judgment of sin and fidelity to the long-term promises regarding his people.
We should wake up the incredible and precious gift God has given us in entrusting us with his word; and so we should reverentially dig in to our Bibles every day!
Sin is bad even though God uses it for good; its effects are so bad that we should do our best to avoid it and never think about rationalizing it away.
Sin is our problem before our Creator, but we have trouble seeing it because we’re blinded by pride and of our tendency to compare ourselves to others instead of God.
The Gospel benefits require a complete and total honesty about our guilt and culpability before God’s holy tribunal.
What we need to be right before God is perfection, we don’t have and can’t earn it, but we can trust God to grant us the only applicable righteousness there is-his son’s perfection.
