Fueled by God’s Gracious Resources
We must draw the connection between God and his gracious provisions in our lives and, for his glory, make the most of all that he has set before us.
We must draw the connection between God and his gracious provisions in our lives and, for his glory, make the most of all that he has set before us.
We must fear the Lord as our omnipotent Provider who will graciously meet all our needs to accomplish all he requires.
When God called Moses to be his representative during a dark hour in Israel’s history, Moses’ response was less than compliant. We might sympathize with his reluctance to stand before Pharaoh and deliver what was sure to be an unpopular message, but God was not so sympathetic.
Christ expects us to prudently plan and wisely prepare for life’s eventuality while fully and fearlessly trusting in God’s sovereign and loving oversight of our lives
We should seek a godly contentment by continually giving thanks for what we possess as forgiven children of the King, regularly calling to mind the good future secured for us by Christ.
Christ will call us to positions and tasks for which we will feel inadequate, our job is to be faithful, trusting that he will supply all that is needed, bearing fruit through us in victories and setbacks.
We can trust God to come through for us in every aspect of life, because his grace freely supplies for all of our daily needs – not just our eternal ones.
