As God’s Children (called by God to do good) we ought to be intentional about our lives, planning to do good while always distinguishing between God’s opposition and someone else’s.
Big decisions (like getting married) must be prayerfully considered in light of timing, calling and the intensity of one’s desire.
Because of our relationship with God (and each other) we can wisely & productively navigate any difficult station in life.
In light of our present resources and our future responsibilities we ought to be able to wisely resolve any dispute that comes our way.
We must be focused on acquiring wisdom for life from God’s words and reliant upon his Spirit to appropriate it!
We dare not give into the temptation of repackaging the truth into a more palatable form when presenting the wisdom of the gospel to people who seem to not be getting it.
God has not called us to be religious existentialists or analytical philosophers, but rather faithful followers of Christ who explicitly trust his solutions & directions for our lives!
We must gladly stand firm against any opposition that may come because we confidently believe what God has said.
God is so ready to use ordinary people to do extraordinary things when we’re ready to trust in him instead of ourselves.
To be wise, we must value what’s really important by living as though we were on the threshold of eternity.
If the next time you are tempted you take the time to think you’ll realize that sin is never worth it.
