Mike Fabarez consistently promotes a biblical worldview in a culture bombarding us with a “whatever-makes-you-happy” philosophy. Pastor Mike’s weekly devotionals direct our attention to Christ so we can make Him the “focal point” of our week.
Conduit
Most of us prefer to live on a cul-de-sac. We tend to like them because they allow us the tranquility of forgoing all the unnecessary traffic running through our lives. After all, the main streets allow way too much congestion coming our way that ultimately has its business elsewhere. (You see where I’m going, don’t you?) Â
I’ve said it many times before: God has called us to be conduits and not cul-de-sacs! While we’d naturally prefer the tranquility of decisions and investments that only benefit me and mine, God has called us to suffer the hardships and hassles of involvement for the good of others.
So when you’re deciding whether or not to go to that service, get involved in that program or attend that church event, remember that it may not be about your edification! It may very well be that God wants to bring that experience into your life so that you can be equipped, positioned or prepared to be a blessing to someone else. And as it happens we might just remember the words of Jesus that it is indeed “more blessed to give than to receive” (Ac.20:35).

Freedom
The New Testament Gospel is a message of “freedom,” not from an expectation to keep the rules, but from the just and deserved penalty of our sin. All too often Christians bandy

Real Worship
Real worship is not easy. The difficulty is usually commensurate with the amount of pride in our hearts. Worship is hard because it requires that we attribute to another what our flesh desires to receive – the credit! At the core of worship…
Relieving Doubt

What Is Faith?
Faith in Christ as we walk through this life can easily be mistaken for optimism…
