Our service in the church must always prioritize biblical truth, guarding against the selfish ambitions that fracture the church and derail the sanctification of its congregants.
God warned of a great apostasy as the end of human history draws near (2Th.2:3; 1Tim.4:1-3; 2Tim.3:1-5; 4:3-4; et al.). This is not a promise of a religion-less world. On the contrary, the end times events are filled with references to popular and influential religious organizations (Rev.17:1-18). What God’s word predicts
As we advance the gospel, we must be ready to faithfully confront and correct those we lead to Christ, knowing that everyone will be tempted to fall into costly and corrupting sins.
Advancing the gospel must include a careful explanation of biblical repentance which calls everyone to a lifelong penitent submission to the King of kings.
In the work of reaching people with the gospel we should expect painful betrayals and apostasies, but we should never lose heart, knowing God is working through us to advance his kingdom just as he planned.

Because Christ has demonstrated an extreme love to redeem us from sin and its consequences, we should soberly insure that our lives are transformed and growing in a deepening devotion to God.
We must understand and dread the fate of the apostate who after a serious interaction with truth seriously renounces his association with Christ—and make sure it’s not you.
Going to Church can be extremely hazardous, unless you make sure that you are truly saved!
